May 2010 will see Extrema releasing a special edition of their latest, acclaimed album ‘Pound For Pound’ on Scarlet Records. The band will present this new version of the album live on stage at the infamous The Underworld in London , UK, Tuesday 11 th May 2010. The album will contain 4 new tracks, consisting of 3 live songs recorded during the band’s latest club tour and a stunning cover version of Venom’s ‘Black Metal ’. Uscirà a Maggio 2010 su Scarlet Records la “special edition” per il mercato europeo di ‘Pound For Pound’ , ultimo acclamatissimo album degli Extrema. Sempre a Maggio, esattamente martedì 11, la band presenterà in anteprima assoluta sul palco dell’ Underworld di Londra questa nuova versione dell’album che li ha rilanciati sul mercato internazionale e che conterrà ben quattro brani in più rispetto alla versione originale, ovvero tre brani live registrati durante il club tour 2010 e una spettacolare rifacimento di ‘Black Metal’ dei mitici Venom.

L’uscita del disco verrà accompagnata da quella del nuovo videoclip del brano ‘Selfishness’, realizzato da Majestic Film, ovvero i vincitori del contest che ad Ottobre 2009 aveva dato la possibilità ai fan del gruppo di montare il clip senza nessun tipo di vincolo tranne quello di usare delle clip dei singoli musicisti messe a disposizione dagli stessi Extrema.

Finalmante ci siamo, dopo 2 mesi di lavoro fatto dai nostri fan ... e da video makers, abbiamo scelto i 5 video di "Selfishness" tra i quindici lavori ricevuti. La scelta definitiva sarà sicuramente dura, sono tutti e 5 dei grandi lavori, ma solo uno sarà il vincitore .... CHI??? questo sarete voi a deciderlo ... “Pound for Pound” è uscito il 22 maggio 2009 su Scarlet records e in oltre 1000 digital shop con Live Global dopo le 20 date estive che hanno visto la band suonare in alcuni dei maggiori festival europei e fare da supporto al tour Italiano dei Motorhead gli Extrema ripartiranno in tour da Gennaio:
